Honestly, breakfast is not even on my radar during the weekday. When the weekend transpires, however, brunch is one of the first things on my mind. I definitely fit the millennial stereotype because I absolutely love brunch. And while bottomless mimosas or Bloody Marys no longer factor in my brunch preferences, all an ideal brunch needs is somewhere where I know I’m going to get heavenly food and memorable service while catching up with friends and family, continuing to make genuine connections.

To my wonderful surprise, I was recently informed that Toast in Walker’s Point created a handful of "far out" mocktails. Far out, indeed. If you have not been to Toast, you are in for a groovy treat because it truly embraces a '60s vibe, creating a peaceful, loving and happy experience – especially when it comes to mocktail creations.

"We wanted to have a vibrant mocktail list, so that people of all ages and backgrounds could experience our flavor and style," said bar manager Curtis Stark. "A great mimosa or Bloody Mary is essential to a popular brunch spot, but we wanted to make sure everyone was included when they dine with us."

With that in mind, Toast features six mocktails, and I had the pleasure of checking out its four best sellers: Good Vibrations, Lucy in the Sky, Kesey’s Test and Purple Haze, each selling for just $5. All of the mocktails are tied into its '70s aesthetic, and each one is full of color with loads of gnarly garnishes.

The Good Vibrations is a spin on a pina colada, and when I had my first sip, the peppy Beach Boys classic was echoing in my head thanks to the drink's vibrant color. And yes, I picked some good vibrations from sipping it, too. Plus, it pairs well with Toast's California Wrap.

Kesey’s Test is Toast's second most popular mocktail because it is simple and refreshing – think electric Kool-Aid. It pairs well with Toast's Classic Benedict.

Lucy in the Sky is one of Toast's most popular mocktails, and the moment I took a sip, I knew why. It's basically a smoothie made without using a blender. It’s healthy, light and gluten-free – plus the rim has unicorn sprinkle dust. If you are looking for a drink for your liquid diet, I would recommend ordering this; that being said, it does pair well with its Croissant Berry French Toast.

Purple Haze was definitely Toast's most unique mocktail, and I loved it, because it was not what I was expected. The combination of cranberry juice, almond milk and gold sugar sets this mocktail apart, as my eyes were immediately drawn to the gold sugar. It definitely made me feel tha funk. It pairs perfectly with Toast's chilaquiles.

• Good Vibrations: Orange juice, pineapple juice, coconut syrup, grenadine and garnished with a lime wheel

• Kesey's Test: Lemonade, black raspberry syrup, muddled lime, seltzer and garnished with a lime wheel

• Lucy in the Sky: Strawberry mango & peach puree, kiwi & banana syrup, lime juice, cream, muddled raspberries and blackberries, unicorn sprinkle dust and garnished with a lemon wheel  

• Purple Haze: Cranberry juice, almond milk, almond syrup, lemon juice, muddled blackberries, gold sugar and garnished with blackberries

Do me a solid: The next time you need a place to eat while wanting an awesome-possum mocktail, get down to Toast. You will not regret this blazin' experience.
